This exceptional material excels with extended use and are typical for Nylon. Nylon has one of the widest ranges of sizes and shapes, including thick plate, thin sheet. The Natural Cast Nylon type 6 materials are readily available.

Between the Delrin and Acetal rods, both materials are exceptionally durable and easily machinable, as they have similar physical properties. They do appear the same, but for practical use there are some differences that can make one preferable than the other. It also depends heavily on your application.
